The Kohala Center’s Farm and High School Agriculture Internship Program

The Kohala Center has announced their 2014-15 Farm and High School agriculture Internship Program. The Program’s primary purpose “is to expose students to the exciting and rewarding college and career opportunities in agriculture and related fields. Students will tour various sustainable and organic farms, explore college and career opportunities, and gain hands-on experience in sustainable and organic farming. In addition to a fun and exciting week of activities, students will receive a $125 stipend upon successful completion of the program.”

Two iterations of the Program will be offered this school year. Both are conveniently scheduled for the intersession breaks: October 6-10, 2014, March 16-20, 2015. Space is limited so plan ahead!
