New Employability Skills Resource

Employability Skills Website
Following is feedback from my colleague Dan Banks who tested out the above website:

This is a CTE-based federal site that has a few tools that may be useful to the classroom teacher.

The site generates useful checklists quickly through a check-off of what is important to the teacher and the student to assess. Sample checklists  [Dan created]:

  • Skill sets that could be used by a student or student group so they could self-monitor.
  • Tool for teacher to assess student work and give feedback.
  • To be used within an internship or work-based learning situations to help create focal points throughout.

There are many resources and ‘white papers’ covering a wide range of topics.
