Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education

DOE is partnership with UH Manoa’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) to host a CASE (Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education) Institute for all Natural Resource Pathway teachers, on June 12 to June 22, 2017. The CASE Institute will be offering Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources. This workshop is a hand-on intensive professional develop designed so that participant will experience the curriculum. For more information regarding the CASE Institute: CASE

Registration fee for Hawaii teachers will be $500. Registration fee will include room and board at the dormitory at UH Manoa Campus. Registration will not include air and ground transportation for Neighbor Island participates. Participants are expected to dorm at UH Manoa throughout the CASE Institute (with exception of the weekend).

PD credit is pending approval and the application process is currently in process with CASE Institute at the national level. This notice is meant to allow for planning. This activity can be supported with WSF and/or Perkins funding in accordance with your approved One-Year Plan.
